Pixel Watts with Elite trainers
Elite trainers (Direto, Suito, Justo …) send the same FTMS standard over Bluetooth that Pixel Watts rides. Honestly: not yet verified end to end by us — it is the same standard the verified Tacx and Wahoo machines use, so it should simply work.

- The free tier costs nothing — testing whether your machine runs is one pairing and five minutes.

Riding in three minutes
- Close the Elite apps (myE-Training, Upgrado) — the trainer accepts only one controlling connection.
- Open app.pixelwatts.com in Chrome or Edge (or the Mac/iPad app) and go to “Pair”.
- Pedal briefly, choose “Smart Trainer” — your Elite appears under its model name.
- Optionally add heart rate and cadence sensors, Bluetooth as well.
- Ride five minutes — that is the compatibility test, and it costs nothing.
Common Elite questions
“Should work” — what does that mean exactly?
That Elite speaks the same FTMS standard over Bluetooth as the machines we have ridden ourselves, but no Elite has been on our own bench yet. That is why this page says “FTMS-compatible” instead of “verified” — we take that difference seriously.
My Direto/Suito will not pair — what now?
The usual suspects first: close other apps, pedal briefly, search again in Chrome or Edge (Safari cannot do Web Bluetooth). If it persists, write to us through the feedback channel — machines we get running with you move to this page as verified.
Do ERG workouts and the FTP test work?
ERG is part of the FTMS standard Elite implements — workouts and the ramp test control resistance automatically once the machine is paired.
Does trying it cost me anything?
No. The demo stage rides without an account, and the free tier (60 minutes a month, no credit card) is enough to test your machine completely.
